How to spot one
- ✓Pointier nose than an A320, and the nose gear sits close to it
- ✓No nose-gear doors in flight — the wheels stay exposed, a 737 tell since 1967
- ✓Flat-bottomed engine nacelles on older jets (ground-clearance legacy); MAX nacelles wear chevrons
- ✓NGs carry split-scimitar winglets; MAX wings tip up AND down at the ends
