Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and planes.fun (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of the planes.fun website and game (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

planes.fun is an entertainment game: you predict whether real flights will arrive on time, and outcomes are settled from independent flight data. The Service is a game of skill and knowledge played for virtual points. It is not gambling — Miles have no monetary value, cannot be cashed out, exchanged, or transferred, and nothing on the Service is gambling, an investment, or a financial product.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age in your country) to use the Service. You sign in with a Google account; you are responsible for keeping that account secure and for all activity under your planes.fun account. You agree to:

• Use one account only — multiple accounts per person are not permitted.
• Not share, sell, or transfer your account.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

• Tokens are virtual play credits. Everyone receives a free daily refill, and you may optionally purchase additional token packs in the planes.fun app, where payment is processed by Google Play.
• Miles are earned only through gameplay and are never for sale.
• Tokens and Miles are a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use features of the Service — not property, currency, or a stored-value instrument. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money or anything of value outside the game.
• Refunds for token purchases are handled by Google Play under its refund policies — request one through Google Play, not from us. When Google refunds or voids a purchase, the tokens it granted are removed from your balance (never below zero). Prices are set in the store and may change at any time.
• Rewarded ads. You may choose to watch an ad to its end to unlock a feature for a set time or, in the app, to receive tokens (at most five token rewards a day, by UTC date). A reward is granted only when the ad runs to its end, never for interacting with the ad itself, and is subject to the same license as tokens: no cash value, not transferable. Rewards obtained through automation, a modified app or a faked view may be removed. The ads are provided by Google and their content is the advertiser's.
• If your account is terminated for violating these Terms, unused tokens and Miles are forfeited without compensation.

The game only works if everyone plays it straight. You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automation to place calls, farm tokens, or interact with the Service.
• Exploit bugs, rate limits, or data discrepancies for advantage.
• Fake, automate, or otherwise manipulate ad views or ad rewards.
• Collude across accounts or manipulate leaderboards.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute data from the Service, or probe, disrupt, or overload our systems.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may void calls, adjust scores, and suspend or terminate accounts involved in any of the above.

Verdicts are settled automatically from third-party flight data (including AeroDataBox, and adsb.lol). This data is provided “as is” and may occasionally be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. When no reliable data is available for a flight, the market is voided rather than guessed at. When a market is voided, for any reason — no reliable data, a cancelled or diverted flight, a tie, or an error we correct — the tokens spent on every call in it are returned to your balance automatically. Voided calls earn no Miles. Settlement results are final and are not subject to appeal, except where we determine at our sole discretion that a technical error occurred. The Service is for entertainment only — never rely on it for actual travel decisions or flight information.

The Service — including its design, code, text, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Flight data and aircraft photos remain the property of their respective providers.

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time — including for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or discontinuation of the Service — with or without notice. Sections 4, 6, 7, and 9–12 survive termination. Deleting your account forfeits any unused tokens and Miles without compensation.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT FLIGHT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time — including game rules, token economics, and available airports or markets. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions? Email support@planes.fun.
